While the Skoda Kushaq will arrive first, the Volkswagen Taigun facelift will follow shortly after, likely around March or April 2026. The Taigun will share many updates with the Kushaq but will retain its distinct Volkswagen identity.
Expected design changes include redesigned bumpers, new LED headlights and tail lights with updated graphics, and new alloy wheel designs. Inside, Volkswagen will offer revised dashboard layouts, updated seat covers, and improved infotainment software. Just like the Kushaq, the Taigun will also feature Level 2 ADAS and a surround-view monitor for enhanced safety.
Volkswagen will continue offering the Taigun with the same engine lineup, while the switch to the 8-speed automatic transmission for the 1.0-litre TSI is expected around six months after its launch. Prices will likely start close to ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in direct competition with its Skoda sibling.
